Location Information

We ask for your permission to use your device's location to enhance your experience. We may use your device's GPS to determine your ZIP code through the Nominatim service or use your IP address as a fallback to get an approximate location via the ipapi.co service. This allows us to automatically populate your location in the search field.

We use Google Analytics and Firebase Analytics to collect information about your interactions with our Service, which helps us understand user behavior and improve our platform. This includes page views, search queries, and general usage patterns.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

  • Create and manage your account and user profile.
  • Display events and allow you to search and filter them based on your preferences.
  • Communicate with you, including sending notifications about your event submissions and responding to your inquiries.
  • Personalize the Service, such as by automatically detecting your location for search.
  • Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with our Service.

3. How We Share Your Information

We may share the information we collect in the following circumstances:

With Service Providers

We use third-party service providers to help us operate our Service, including Firebase for backend infrastructure (Authentication, Firestore, App Hosting, Storage), Google Maps API for mapping functionality, Google Analytics for usage analytics, Nominatim for reverse geocoding, and ipapi.co for IP-based geolocation.

Publicly

Information you provide for public display, such as event details and certain parts of your user profile, will be visible to others.

For Legal Reasons

We may disclose information if we believe that disclosure is in accordance with, or required by, any applicable law or legal process.
