How do I find events?
Our website features a powerful search and filtering system. You can search for events by name, distance (like 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, etc.), and location within the DC area. Our search results page allows you to further refine your search by date range and sort results by date or distance to find the perfect race for your schedule.
Do I need an account to find events?
No, you can search for and browse all public events on RaceDay without an account. However, creating a free account allows you to save your favorite events to your profile so you can easily find them later.
How do I register for an event?
RaceDay provides a direct link to the event's official website or registration page. When you find a race you're interested in, simply click the registration or event website link on our event details page to be taken directly to the organizer's page where you can complete your registration.
How can I list my event on RaceDay?
We'd love to feature your race. We are currently focused on running events within the greater Washington, DC area. If your event fits this description, simply navigate to our "Organize" page and fill out our event submission form. You will be prompted to provide all the key details, and after you submit the form, our team will review it for publication on our site.
Is there a cost to list my event?
No, it is completely free for event organizers to list their events on RaceDay. We are focused on building the most comprehensive directory of running events in the DC area, and that means making it as easy as possible for organizers to get their events in front of our community of athletes.
What happens after I submit an event?
After you submit an event, our team will review it to ensure it has all the necessary information and fits our current focus. Events are typically reviewed and approved within a few business days. You can check on the status of your submitted events in your user profile.
